Sarson Bhindi

Sarson is the hindi word of mustard and Bhindi means Ladies Finger or Okra in English. This amazing combination of Ladies Finger and Mustard seed paste gives a boost to your taste buds. This dish goes well with both rice and roti. Very simple to prepare and can be prepared in hardly any time. Here I am sharing my delicious recipe of Sarson Bhindi.

Time for Preparation : 10 minutes
Time for Cooking : 10 minutes
Serves 3 People  

Ingredients for Sarson Bhindi

500 grams Bhindi (Okra / Ladies Finger) cut into 1 inch size
250 grams Sarson (Yellow mustard seeds) paste
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 cup water
2 dried Red Chili
1 Tbsp Mustard Oil
Salt to taste

How to make Sarson Bhindi

Heat oil in a wok.

Add the Bhindi and stir fry for 5 minutes.

Now add the red chili powder and mustard paste.

Stir everything for 2 minutes.

Add the water now.

Add the dried red chilies and salt.

Saute and cook till the water dries up.

Yummy Sarson Bhindi is now ready. Serve it hot with rice or roti.
