Chicken Tikiya

Chicken can be prepared in a lot of ways and this chicken recipe is savored as an appetizer or as a snack with a hot cup of tea or coffee. This yummy preparation is very simple to prepare dish and hardly takes any time. I recommend to fry them just before eating. To enhance the taste of these tikiyas one can sprinkle lemon juice and chat masala over it. Here I am sharing my delicious recipe of Chicken Tikiya

Time for Preparation : 10 minutes
Time for Cooking : 15 minutes
Serves 4 People 

Ingredients for Chicken Tikiya

1 kg Chicken minced
3 Onions
1 inch Ginger
5 cloves of Garlic
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
250 grams Besan (Gram Flour)
Oil for frying
Salt to taste

How to make Chicken Tikiya

Chop the onions, ginger and garlic.

Take the minced chicken.

Add the chopped ginger and garlic.

Now add the chopped onions

Add the salt to taste

Add the red chili powder

Add the coriander powder

Add the garam masala powder.

Add the besan.

Now mix everything together properly.

Take a plate and sprinkle little besan on it and keep it aside.

Now take the chicken mixture little by little and shape them into flat tikiyas and place them in the besan sprinkled plate.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or a deep wok.

Now take the tikiyas and fry them little by little.

Fry them on both the sides on medium flame till the tikiyas turn golden brown in color and is completely cooked.

Once done remove it from the oil and keep them on a separate bowl.

Delicious Chicken Tikiya is now ready.
