Ladies Finger And Potato Curry

Ladies Finger is one of my favorite vegetables and I often prepare it at home. So I always try to make some new recipes with ladies finger. This recipe is a very simple one and can be prepared with very less ingredients. This yummy recipe is prepared in very less time and can be savored with roti and rice both. Here I am sharing my very simple and easy recipe of Ladies Finger And Potato Curry.





Time for Preparation : 10 minutes
Time for Cooking : 20 minutes
Serves 4 People

Ingredients for Ladies Finger And Potato Curry

500 grams Ladies Finger
4 Potatoes
2 Onions
1 Tomato (chopped)
1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
Salt to Taste
3 Tbsp Mustard Oil
½ cup water (luke warm)

How to make Ladies Finger And Potato Curry

Wash and cut the ladies finger one inch long.



Peel and cut the potatoes lengthwise.



Slice the onions



Pour and heat the mustard oil in a deep pan or a wok.



Add the sliced onions into the heated oil and sauté for a minute.



Now add the sliced potatoes.



Sauté for five minutes.



Add the cut ladies finger and sauté everything together for another five minutes.



Now add the red chili powder.



Add the salt to taste.



Now add the chopped tomatoes.



Stir for some more time



Add the half cup luke warm water and cover and cook till the potatoes are cooked.



When the potatoes are cooked properly remove the lid of the pan or wok and stir the curry till the water dries up completely.



Yummy Ladies Finger And Potato Curry is now ready.
