Onion Pancakes

Pancakes are one of my favorite breakfast recipes. I often make them at home and sometimes for dinner too. This pancake recipe is very simple and can be prepared in minutes, yet it is so tasty. While preparing the same for children you can add sugar instead of salt and I am sure kids will enjoy the same. This recipe is very easy and prepared with very less and easily available ingredients. Here I am sharing my recipe of Onion Pancakes.




Time for Preparation : 5 minutes
Time for Cooking : 5 minutes
Serves 4 People

Ingredients for Onion Pancakes

250 grams Maida (wheat flour)
2 Onions
1 Egg
Oil for Frying
Salt to taste
Water to make batter

How to make Onion Pancakes

Take the maida in a deep bowl



Chop the onions



Add the chopped onions to the maida.



Break the egg and add it to the onion and maida bowl, add salt too.



Now add sufficient water and mix everything together to make a smooth batter. The consistency should neither be too thick nor too thin.



Heat little oil in a non sticky pan.



Now take little batter and pour on the non sticky pan with the help of a big spoon.



Spread the batter in the pan.



Cook till the pancake turns light golden in color.



Once it turns golden in color toss it to the other side. Cook on both the sides in medium heat.



Delicious Onion Pancakes are now ready.
