Spicy Egg Noodles

Noodles can be prepared in numerous ways. One evening I was feeling very hungry and I wanted to eat noodles but I wanted to have spicy noodles, I know many of you might be thinking that I could have added chili sauce if I wanted to eat a spicy noodles, infact my mom to suggested me that but I did not wanted to add chili sauce rather I wanted to eat something which is more flavorful. So I thought for some time and this idea of mixing these spices came to my mind. Thinking of the recipe only made my mouth water so I immediately started cooking without any delay. When I was preparing this noodles one thing was running in my mind that will it taste good. Finally when it was prepared I was very delightful and happy to prepare and savor such tasty noodles. My family too loved it and my sister asked me for the recipe also. I am sure you can cherish some good moments with your family by preparing this Spicy Egg Noodles for them by following my simple and very easy recipe.

Time for Cooking : 15 minutes
Serves 4 People

Ingredients for Spicy Egg Noodles

½ kg Noodles
2 Eggs
2 Onions
4 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Ginger Paste
1 tsp Garlic Paste
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Chili Powder
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 cups Water
Salt to taste

How to make Spicy Egg Noodles

The first step to prepare this yummy noodles recipe we need to slice the onions and keep it aside.

Now we will take the eggs and break them in a bowl. I have used two eggs, if you or your family is an egg lover you can add more eggs.

Add little salt and beat the eggs properly and we will keep it aside.

It is time to prepare the noodles now so we are going to boil water in a deep vessel.

Once the water boils we will add the noodles and let it boil just once, do not boil it for a longer time as the noodles will be overcooked and it will become sticky. I would like to give you a small tip here, just add a spoon full of oil into the boiling water after adding the noodles as this will prevent the noodles from sticking.

Once the noodle is boiled, strain the noodle and throw away the water, then pour a glass of cold water to the boiled noodles and place it under a running fan.

Now we will heat oil in a deep bottom vessel. I have used soya refine oil, you can use your favorite oil as it will not affect the taste.

Add the sliced onions now and we are just going to sauté it for a minute, only to remove the raw taste of the onions.

Now we will add the beaten egg that we have kept aside, keep stirring on a high flame till the egg pieces are fried well.

It is now time to add the boiled noodles.

We will stir the noodles and mix the onions and eggs properly. If required you can add more oil.

Now it is time to enhance the flavor of the noodles so add the ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, soy sauce and salt as required.

Stir fry the noodles till the spices are mixed well and the noodles are fried well. I know by this time your hunger will increase as the delightful aroma of the noodles is so appetizing.

The delectable Spicy Egg Noodles is now ready. Transfer it to a serving bowl and enjoy it.  You can garnish it with some coriander leaves to make it look more attractive.
