Quick Corn Rice Recipe

This recipe is the quickest and the simplest rice recipe that can be prepared just in the blink of an eye. I also find this recipe the best way to utilize the left over rice in a very tasty manner. The best part of this recipe is that, it is so simple that anybody can prepare this dish. It can also be packed in your child’s lunch box or you can also cook it instantly and carry it in your lunch box to your office. Ingredients required for making Corn Rice

1 bowl cooked rice
Half cup sweet corn kernels
1 Tbsp oil
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tbsp soya sauce (thick)
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder to taste
Half cup spring onion white
Half cup spring onion green
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Time for preparation : 5 minutes
Time for cooking : 5 minutes
Serves 2 people

How to cook Corn Rice Recipe

First wash the sweet corn kernels properly and keep it ready.

Now take the spring onions, wash them properly and chop them. Keep the spring onion white separately and the green separately.

It’s time to start cooking, heat oil in a deep bottom pan or kadhai.

Add the spring onion white and sauté it for few seconds.

Now add the sweet corn kernels to the pan or kadhai and keep sauting for few more seconds.

Add the cooked rice now. I have used the left over rice that I had at home.

Just sauté to mix the sweet corn kernels and spring onion white with the rice properly so that everything is combined together.

Now add the soya sauce, white vinegar, salt to taste, black pepper powder and spring onion green and sauté till everything is mixed properly. Using soya sauce is optional, it gives colour to the recipe. If you don’t want to use soya sauce then you can prepare this recipe without it.

Once all the ingredients are blended properly, our delicious Quick Corn Rice Recipe is now ready to serve. Garnish it with coriander leaf or as you like it.
